Account Deletion
FamShield users can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email us from the email address you used to create your FamShield account.
- Send your request to: support@famshieldsoftware.com
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include the following details in your message:
- Your FamShield account email
- (Optional) Your device ID(s) shown in the app
What data is deleted
When we process an account deletion request, we delete the account and associated FamShield data stored in our systems, which may include:
- Account profile data (email, settings)
- Registered device records and pairing data
- Parental control settings (blocked apps, schedules, modes)
- Usage analytics data stored for the account
- Location data (if enabled) stored for the account
Processing time
We typically process deletion requests within 7–30 days.
Retention exceptions
We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary for those purposes.
